SPiN Curriculum
The Seeking Paths in Nature (SPiN) project was developed through a partnership between Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Cherokee Preservation Foundation. The Museum of the Cherokee People provides a home for these lessons. SPiN encompasses the focused efforts to enlighten the public, students, and GRSM employees on the history and cultural connections inherent between Cherokee people and the land, currently deemed as Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as surrounding communities.
